Growing up in a small town in the South, where sweet tea is a commodity and hospitality is second nature, the historical homes seemed to come alive around every corner.  My appreciation for detail and love for creativity mixed with the beauty of my surroundings made my dream of designing homes even more obvious.

 

In design, the presence of the past is always evident and timeless, whether it's through geography, architecture, or lifestyle.  Understanding the way someone lives within a space, their motions of each day, gives an ideal foundation with each project.  Making those connections between functionality and aesthetics, and witnessing a well thought out design become reality, there's beauty in that.
